Ilizarov Ring Fixation surgery : In case of comminuted fractures where multiple fragments of bone cause difficulty in fixation . Ilizarov ring fixation is good method for fixation . Also in fracture where the bones have not joined in good alignments causing angulation leading to malunited fracture (Malunion), that is seen as bony deformity Illizarov ring fixator is used to correct this deformity. here the bone in cut with chisel (Osteotomy) & correction of deformity surgery is executed.
